Using Rip Wiz 2003

Using Rip Wiz 2003
Installing

To install Rip Wiz 2003, run the setup.exe file from the zip.

Uninstalling

To uninstall Rip Wiz 2003, go to the control panel, select Add/Remove Programs, highlight Rip Wiz 2003 and click Remove.

Extracting

Assuming you have set all of the necessary settings, you can simply check the box next to each track you would like to extract, and click Extract once you are finished.

Tip: Pressing F3 when a track is highlighted, or right clicking it, will give the option of renaming the track

Drives

Unlike most programs that list cdrom drives, Rip Wiz 2003 uses the drives actual make and model (where known). Although this can be a little confusing, we prefer it this way as it is alot less bother than trying to get the actual drive letter (which never seems to be the same on each computer).

Output folder

V2.0 and later require you to set your output folder before loading Rip Wiz 2003 for the first time. You can change your output folder any time by going to the Settings area.

Format

Rip Wiz 2003 supports extraction to both MP3 and WAV formats.

Quality

The quality allows you to select your prefered playback quality (such as radio, cd).

Bitrate

Using a higher bitrate gives much better quality sound. However, be warned, it also increases the file size. 192 normally suffices for audio. (if playing from a computer, if recording onto CD, we reccomend using the maximum 320).
