To use this batch file, first extract all of the file's from the pascleaner.zip file (any location will do). Then open delPAS.bat in Notepad.
1. Change the paths to reflect the paths on your computer (if they're different to those in the batch file)
2. Remove the ActiveScan Installer Class control from the Downloaded Program Files folder
\Windows\Downloaded Program Files
or
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options
Click the General tab, then the Settings button, and finally, the View Objects button.
3. Run the batch file
4. Download and run RegCleaner to remove the registry entries that ActiveScan add's.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 2000/XP/Server 2003 users
Before running this batch file, you must ensure you change the "deltree /y " line to "del " (without the quotes, but with the space) or you will run into problems.
Note: If you have not already done so, you MUST re-start your computer BEFORE doing the above!
