Q. Does B Gone block ALL traffic, or only browser traffic?

A. B Gone will only block traffic within the browser itself. For those wishing to use something that will block traffic from all applications, take a look at 'Naomi' (freeware). http://www.radiance.m6.net/index.html

Q. Help, all sites are coming up as restricted
|
A. This will occur when an entry in the filter list, is present in the sites title. Common filters that should only be used when you wish to block ALL sites and/or new windows include; about: about:blank http http:// :// . If any of these entries are present, remove them from the filter then try accessing the sites again.

Q. How do I block ALL websites with BGone?
|
|
A. To block all websites, you can simply add http to the word filter. This will block all http and https websites. To block everything including FTP, Gopher, HTTP/S, add a period (".") to the blacklist.

Q. Which browsers does B Gone support?

A. As of v1.2.5, B Gone supports ALL Internet Explorer based browsers/shells, including Avant Browser, Maxthon, Green Browser etc.

Q. What is the default password?

A. B Gone does not have a default password. Therefore, if you are running B Gone for the first time, you can simply click OK without entering a password.

Q. Help!, I've forgotten my password

A. Note: Applies to v1.1 and below ONLY To reset the B Gone password, follow the procedure below. Go to Start > Run, and type: regedit, press return (enter) Locate the following key HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/VB and VBA Program Settings/QC In the right pane, right click and delete the value titled: support B Gone will now be restored to the default password.
